Is Windows XPs Firewall good enough?
Back in the day, lol, I used to use ZoneAlarm (the free version) as my firewall before Windows XP had one. These days I just use the inbuilt one, but is it as good as the commercial/freeware ones out there?

It's better than nothing, but it depends on the sort of user you are. For most people it will do the job, and because it's built into the OS you don't have to worry about incompatibilites as much.
If however you want more robust features and control then I would take a look at Comodo or Online Armor (free version).
Haven't used ZoneAlarm for ages and it went through a real period of causing BSOD although I think that is mostly fixed now.
