I want a laptop with a BIG screen

Hello, sounds like you are after a 17”, 18” or even 20” inch laptop. If you really want a big screen, then I would recommend something like HP's Pavilion HDX18 series. These are big laptops (18 inches!) and have full HD screen (1920x1080) and even have Blu-Ray drives. They are not the fastest laptops around, but if you want something to replace a desktop and be portable and be good for media, they are a great laptop. You can get them quite cheaply on eBay as well. Mind you I have one of these laptops and it is quite large, and also VERY heavy. If you only move it now and then it's ok but I wouldn't want to carry around it with me every day. The base graphics card is not particularly very good (although you can pay to get better upgrades), so you won't be able to run games at the full 1920x1080 resolution, but it is certainly fast enough to watch DVDs and Blu-Ray movies.
