How do I stop water in a water feature from going green without using chemicals that could harm my dog or cat or birds?
I have a very gentle water feature which is a bowl with a big pot in it, but the water is going green. Birds use it as a bird bath and I have a dog (and cats) who are likely to drink from it. It has a small pump in it which keeps the water flowing gently over the edges of the pot into the bowl below.
